Materials: Artfibers “Rosetta” Color 01, 1 spool (127 yards/ 50 grams) (or one skein of a ribbon type yarn at least 125 years)
Needles: size 9
Gauge: 5 sts/in in garter stitch (stretched vertically)
Set-up
CO 15 sts
knit 8 rows plain
Pattern rows:
Row 1: K1, *yo, k1, repeat from * to end
Row 2: K1, *drop yo, k1, repeat from * to end
Rows 3&4: Knit
Row 5: K1, *yo 2 times, k1, repeat from * to end
Row 6: K1, *drop boths yos, k1, repeat from * to end
Rows 7&8: Knit
Repeat rows 1-8 until scarf measures about 56 inches (stretched with yos pulled down) or the desired length.
Finishing
Knit 8 rows
Weave in ends
Block scarf into shape.
